Accident Medical Expenses Plan

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

• Underwritten by Chartis Life South Africa Limited
• Covers all medical costs related to an accident up to R150 000
• All related costs are covered from date of accident for 12 months
• An excess of R1 500 is payable by the member per claim
• All costs are covered at cost up to the maximum applicable rate
• Emergency hospital guarantees are covered up to R2 000 per case
• Emergency medical transport is covered up to R25 000 per case. This benefit is not subject to an excess
• Cover includes an Accident Death Benefit per insured of R5 000
• Minimum age of entry is 6 months and maximum age of entry is 54 years. Cover will terminate at the age of 80
• In the event a member requires emergency medical transport or a hospital admission the member should call the 086 number reflected on their card

RATES

All members must have a payment mechanism card at a cost of R11.00
